available on the web. Be sure to check all the website
given to you in order to see what all scholarships you
qualify for. Apply for anything and everything that
fits you!

scholarships) Begin filling out the application ASAP.

- Dec. 1 - Deadline to apply to TTU, MTSU, TSU,
ETSU (Check with other universities for their deadline to
qualify for scholarships. For links to area
universities, click on 'For the Students' and scroll down to
'Colleges').
Remember to apply for webscholar at the same time.
Athletes remember to apply to NCAA Clearinghouse online.
*Remember to fill out schoalarship forms online for the
university, pay fee, and send transcript.
Check with parents' employers or any business to see if
scholarships are available and follow requirements and
deadlines.

- Nov. 3 - 6:00 p.m. WCHS - Financial Aid Workshop
(for parents and students)

- January - After filing income tax return, apply
for HOPE Scholarship through
www.fafsa.ed.gov .
It is good to apply early in order for you to be entitled to
more available money.

- January - Guidance will hand out a Financial Aid
Handbook with local scholarship order forms. Apply for
all the scholarships that you fit the requirements.

- February - Fill out applications and return to
the guidance office.

- March - Deadline for most scholarships -
selections will be made.

- May - Senior Awards Day and the announcement of
most scholarships

- Remember to request your transcript to be sent to your
chosen university at the time of admission

- LAST MONTH OF SCHOOL - ON A FULL SHEEP OF PAPER,
REQUEST YOUR FINAL TRANSCRIPT TO BE SENT TO
THE UNIVERSITY YOU PLAN TO ATTEND IN THE FALL as well as
student athletes send final NCAA.
